Carnival Rides

A nice gentleman offered to take our family picture.

We visit our entries at the fair.

Karen got a blue ribbon for her picture of Maggie. She got a total of 4 blues. Way to go!!

My quilt is the middle one. They said my border was too wide!! I did it that big to fit my bed!

Karen's Rockerpillar also got a blue.
Paul got a blue for his marigolds.

Just big kids at art.

Pastor and I started an art project at church. This is the entry to the nursery. We will do some more pictures inside. So far we are really pleased with how it is turning out. Thankfully Curtis took his naps during both days of painting, so it went very well.

Maggie

This is our dog Maggie. She is now 11 years old. You can tell she's getting quite old and grey. She has a limp now. I checked her paw and she didn't wimper, so I'm thinking she might have a sore hip.

Karen took these pictures for her entry for the county fair. We chose the full-body shot you see up top.

County Fair

Been busy getting my entries ready for the county fair. They are due Thursday.
The two pictures are 'macro' in 8x10. The scrapbook layout is 12x12 and is from Relay For Life. The frame is Artificial/Dried wall arrangement.

Bored, bored, bored

I am finishing day 3 of being totally alone with a non-verbal child. I'm miserable!! He has his good moments, but 90% of the time, I'm being yelled at, snotted on, poop cleaning, and sweeping/mopping/picking up/vacuuming after the rest of the time. By the time back up shows, I'll be doing this gig for 87 hours. Paul thought I'd enjoy the alone time. Not quite. I'm stressed.

BTW... Chris, don't read this.

My Boy and His Food

By now you've noticed my boy loves to eat. I think he got that from his Daddy. He loves chocolate, too. Just like his Momma.

it's a potato, in case you can't tell.
