miscellaneous

Potty training has begun. We are in week 2 and odds are in our favor.

On our way home from Dayton, I saw these cool tagged railroad cars.

*S*n*o*w*

Snow has finally fallen in our town. It's been a few years since we've had this much. We are averaging an inch an hour and it's been going for 6 hours. CRAZY!

Budding Artist

Curter drew this for me on my white board. I'm quite impressed!

Windy Weather

On friday we had a terrible wind storm come through the area. I was told we actually qualify for disaster relief and were labeled "state of emergency". The Lord protected our house and we only lost 6 shingles (drats...we need to reroof and insurance money would have been nice!). The church was mostly spared too. The parsonage will need one portion of the roof repaired.

We lost power for about 9 hours. We sat and read and watched out our front window for flying shingles from across the street. Gusts got up to 80mph.

The pictures are from around town. Our town did lose the drive-in theater which is a total bummer. They aren't sure if they'll rebuild because it's hard to find builders. I hope so!
