71st Anniversary ~ trip to Ontario

This weekend we made a trip to Ontario to visit the grandparents ... all 4 of them. It's Chauncy and Lucile's 71st anniversary on Tuesday. Karen dressed up like Gramma Jessie. On our walk, Curtis got upset because I wasn't right beside him.

Instead of going out to eat, we made dinner. Jessie made sourdough bread, Paul made salad, I made lasagna and Kim made dessert.
Here Grandma and Grandpa are gifted with titanium sporks. Grandma apparently has a strong dislike for a certain restaurant's sporks, so now they have indestructable ones to call their very own.

Curtis likes to play with his great grandparents. In fact, when we drove up to their house, he cheered and yelled 'Papa!'.

Playhouse update

Walls are up, roof is almost done (just shingles to go) and a door to go.

Camping!

Fishing in our own puddle.
View of Snake River on a calm day.

Karen's first fish; a perch.
I saw a bald eagle... actually 2!... in the wild. I was so excited!!

Karen played "Little House" with the dominoes for about 4 hours one day. See the stove (in front of her), the desks, and the teacher (by sunscreen)? She refuses to play with dolls, but dominoes work better!
Going to Idaho! (long trip! lol. took 3 minutes!)
Frowin' rots at the wawa.
Owie! Curtis fell and had to get two staples. He has healed very well, although he remembers and will tell people about his 'bonk'.

having fun at the campsite.

the only picture of me, taken on pack-up day, courtesy of Curtis.

Last Day of School

First day

Curtis' POV

Summer Cut

Now I'm sad.... Curtis has lovely hair, but it's so thick he'd sweat so badly. Paul talked me in to cutting it all short. He's not really upset at his haircut... but that I forced him outside to brush off.

It'll grow.... it'll grow....
