Flower Fotos

Paul got home and went to work on pulling weeds. He had the sprinklers going in the flower beds. He saw the water droplets on them and said I should take some photos. My back has been hurting all week (a pinched nerve) so I told him to do it. These are his pictures. I love how we'll take pictures of the same thing, but our angles are different enough to be a whole new photo.

On the pink lily, I love how you can see the water droplets through the petal.

And on the sage, that tiny spider mite is as big as a pin head.

Superhero HQ

Next week our church is hosting VBS with a Superhero HQ theme. I am playing Water Woman.

What we had on our yard today.

If you look closely, in the 2nd picture, the moose is jumping our back fence. She was only here about 10 seconds so thankfully my camera was sitting out.

Day at Bennington Lake

We met up with friends for a picnic lunch, a trek around the lake (2.6 mi), and splashing in the water. Had a fabulous day!

My Amazing Hubby

Our stove top has been slowly dying. It's very old, but very expensive to replace the whole topper. The back left burner finally fully died a couple weeks ago. Paul told me he was going to fix it, but I thought that meant one burner. The guy got all 4 new burners and new drip pans. He took out the inserts, scrubbed them to like new, and got the whole she-bang fixed for about $80, instead of the $1000 for a new insert. I'm thrilled! These also cook a little hotter (higher voltage? watts? something like that). I'm so happy to be married to a handy man.
