Christmas Eve

Since we were 'stuck' at home, and eating out didn't seem right, I made dinner. Inspired by a recipe that no where near resembles my ending result (except for chicken), we had a very tasty meal for a whole lot less!

As a friend would say, it's a total fat bomb. I threw in 1/3 cube of cream chese, about 1/3 cup sour cream, a can of cream of mushroom soup and simmered the chicken in it for a few hours. Then when we decided to eat, I took the chicken out and fried it in olive oil, added slivered carrots, garlic and onions. To the cream sauce I added some rosemary, white wine and milk. Simmered some more. Put some spaghetti noodles on. Added wine to the chicken. Then in my new presentation dish from Paul, I layered the noodles, chicken, and sauce. Parsley was sprinkled for color. I have a lot of sauce let so we froze that. It was good. We ate it all because we couldn't have any leftovers. I think Curtis liked it!

That sounds like I great recipe--I might have to steal it.

So I made a version of your recipe for dinner tonight (with my own modifications, of course), and Jon looked an awful lot like Curtis. Apparently this recipe works wonders for Steele men.
