We got 3 eggs this week, I think one from each chicken. #1 was white and decent size, but the shell was so thin I had to toss it. #2 was brown with speckles. We ate it this morning. #3 we picked up today and we know it was from Simon, the black one. We were waiting for her to hop up so we could get it. Curtis was so excited to hold it while it was still warm. He wanted to keep carrying it, but I had to tell him that it was an egg, not a toy, and that there would be several dozen more to come and we couldn't cuddle each one. It's in the fridge.
